A Private Gathering =)

One of the greatest perks of being in the music biz is the access to rock and roll legends!

When Geezer Butler and Ronnie James Dio of Black Sabbath (YEA!!!!!!!!!) came by, I couldn't help taking a photo =)

A Night Out With the Fabulous Relentless 7

On Tuesday, February 17, 2009 my friends and I attended a Relentless 7 show at the Highland Ballroom, in New York City's Chelsea neighborhood. The band features the awesomely tattooed Ben Harper with a great supporting cast of musicians who, proceeded to give the crowd an energetic set. It was FREEZING while we waited, in a very unorganized fashion, for the doors to open (which they eventually did).

Myself and Eric Nies at the Relentless 7 show =)

Set List:

Karma to Burn
Number with no Name
Shimmer and Shine
Lay there and Hate Me
Dressed in Black
Skin Thin
Fly One Time
Keep it Together
The Word Suicide
Boots Like These
Up to you No

Encore:
Faithfully Remain
Under Pressure (Queen Cover!)

After sampling the fantastic mini-kobe cheeseburgers ($12 for 2) and grabbing some beers (at $8 a pop), I was photographed with an old-school MTV personality, Mr. Eric Nies. Also seen at the show, Matt "THE HOOVER" Pinfield (of MTV's Headbangers Ball fame, who acted as the emcee) and Mrs. Harper herself, the beautiful actress Laura Dern (of the Jurassic Park movies - she was there with their adorable kids - must be awesome to see Dad on stage!)

What a great Tuesday night =)

Thanks for the pics Joe (I can't believe Eric remembered you!)

After hours of waiting, SHOWTIME!

The crowd on their feet right before the start!

Huge screens and the Lincoln Memorial (can you spot the snipers?)

Thanks to my friends, Alex and Alissa for everything (can't wait to see you guys again!).
